Time is precious, so when you schedule an appointment with us, we realize that time is a valuable commodity. We want to make sure to honor the time we spend with our patients as efficiently as possible and strive to give every patient the 100% quality care they deserve. As a result, there are times when your appointment may run a little longer than expected.

Most dentists with a well regarded reputation and are in demand have some wait time. Even so, our team works hard to make the most of your time with us, so if a patient’s time runs a little longer, rest assured we will make sure you also receive the one-on-one quality care we give all our patients.

To ensure a smooth flowing appointment, please schedule a time that works best for your schedule. Our goal is to keep you and the patients after you on track to receive the best possible care in a timely manner. We take into consideration your procedure and how long it will take to complete. Our dental team then sets up the equipment and material to prepare for your treatment, as well as review your chart.

Being on time for your appointment will help us keep your treatment time on schedule. A good rule of thumb is to arrive 5-10 minutes early, or if you are a new patient needing to fill out dental forms, coming in even earlier.

Keeping your scheduled appointments help us address problem areas in your oral health while they are small and intervention is most successful, as well as review any oral concerns you may have. Bear in mind that while most dental plans pay most of the costs for preventative treatment, they don’t typically cover cosmetic treatments for damaged teeth. Also, while restorative treatments, such as fillings and crowns, are effective, they still aren’t quite the same as having your natural teeth.

We realize that unplanned for delays or circumstances may arise and do our best to accommodate a reschedule. Please give us a call as soon as you know that you can’t keep your appointment. We also call, email, or text to confirm your appointment, which is also a good time to let us know if you can’t make it. Giving us 48 hours advance notice allows us to schedule another patient needing to see the dentist.
